New Indonesian Education Bill Statutes on International University Partnerships

CHAPTER VI, ORGANIZATION OF THE INSTITUTE OF HIGHER EDUCATION BY OTHER COUNTRIES:

 Article 90 

(1) Higher Education institutions of other countries may establish Higher Education in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia in accordance with the provisions of the legislation.
(2) Higher Education institutions established by other countries 
 referred to in paragraph (1) has been accredited and / or recognized in their country.
(3) The Government shall determine the area, type, and study programs can be organized by Higher Education institutions by other countries as referred to in paragraph (1).
(4) Higher Education institutions of other countries referred to in paragraph 
 (1) shall: 
 a. obtain the permission of the Government; 
 b. principled non-profit; 
 c. in cooperation with Indonesia Higher Education with permission by the Government, and 
 d. prioritize faculty and staff 
of  citizen of Indonesia.
(5) Higher Education institutions of other countries referred to in paragraph 
 (1) shall support the national interest.
(6) Further provisions on Higher Education 
 institutions of other countries referred to in paragraph (2) through paragraph (5) are regulated by the Minister regulation.
